Soul
Kitchen Sundays @ The Forge - Miami Beach |
Miami
Beach is best known for it's wonderful tropical weather, art deco
feel, high roller lifestyles and of course some of the most beautiful
exotic women found anywhere in the world. The nightlife in Miami
is legendary. Fifth Street, Ocean Drive, Washington and Collins
Avenues are full of life year round. The clubs don't open until
eleven o'clock at night. There aren't many places in this country
where you can walk down the street 4:00 in the morning with a
drink in your hand and not get arrested! And did I mention the
women!!!
Miami
Beach is also home to some of the hottest nightclubs in America.
In fact further up the beach around 41st Street is where the hottest
Sunday night urban party in the country, if not any night exists.
That party is Soul Kitchen Sundays at the Forge Restaurant.

| The
Venue |
| Located
at 432 41st Street just off the beaten path of South Beach, the Forge
is a well respected restaurant that has been in existence since the
1920's. Current owner Shareef Malnik has been in control since 1992
when he took over from his father. At the time, not only was the restaurant
floundering, but most of Miami Beach was on the ropes as well. Malnik
saw the potential of the area and carved out a niche for his building
by creating a hip, chic dining experience on Wednesday nights that
included a disco afterparty that became legendary. As a matter of
fact, Wednesday Nights are still hot to this day with some of the
biggest celebrities stopping by to party. |

| The
Vibe |
Miami
Beach events have a reputation for being leaders in style, trend
and innovation. Soul Kitchen Sundays has been on the cutting edge
of the South Florida urban nightlife since it's debut.
A
night at the Forge many times starts with a dinner party reservation
in the main dining room. Dinner parties start around 6:00 pm or
7:00 pm. Depending on the time of year or whatever other events
are happening in the city, reservations must be booked weeks ahead
of time. During this period of the night R&B and soft rap music
are the tunes of choice by the house dj. The clientele during this
early part of the night is a combination of ball players, ballers
and beautiful, young, exotic vixens of all nationalities dining
on the critically acclaimed cuisine produced by the restaurant's
staff. Usually the women out number the male patrons by a substantial
margin. As the night progresses, the party experience expands and
the club portion of the restaurant, Glass Lounge, is opened up.
General admission for entry is normally around $ 20.00 to $ 40.00,
if you want to be a stunter and do VIP, that runs around $ 150.
00 to $ 250.00 per person. Usually around 1:00 am both the restaurant
and club sides are filled with gorgeous women and eligible men popping
bottles, dancing to the hottest songs and generally enjoying themselves.
This will go on until 5:00 am in the morning. And this happens every
Sunday at The Forge. |
