Be on the look out for eggplant, teal, deep blue hues, and even warm earthy tones. Don’t be afraid to spice up your fall wardrobe with metallic colors, furs (faux will do), and animal prints. Just to the great world of fashion a favor and not over do it, that way you don’t run the risk of looking like an 80’s rerun.

This season has been romanticized by designer’s use of lace, velvet, sheer, and satin fabrics. You should feel sexy just be reading this.

Combinations of these fabrics are being used to create romantic head turning looks this season. Picture a well worn faded pair of jean, silk camisole, and a velvet boxy jacket. Try adding a jacket chain closer through the button holes for a vintage flair.

Lets talk volume. Volume has been brought to us this year by gauchos, full skirts, and flowing romantic tops. Guess what else comes with volume. C-O-M-F-O-R-T!! Thanks to volume there is no need to squeeze into skin tight pants for a night out on the town.

The key to creating the volume look is making sure that you look sexy and comfortable, not messy and sloppy. Try a pair of gauchos and a long fitted sweater.

Let me mention a few other things to consider adding to your wardrobe this fall, before I move on to my favorite part of fashion, accessories!! Try adding corset vests, sweater coats, boxy jackets, caplets, shrugs, skinny pants, and anything corduroy.

Accessories!! Let’s just start with the best (and my favorite) accessory, shoes. The wedge has strutted from the spring and right into fall this year. This season enjoy also enjoy a pair of clogs (wedge and stilettos), round toe pumps, and the ever classic and oh so sexy stilettos.

Boots are made for waking, and you are going to want to walk everywhere with this season fabulous boot selection. There are flats, wedges, cowboy, tall and sexy, and yes the return of the ever loving fun Ugg boots.

Don’t be too quick to pass judgment on flats this season, you just might be surprised. This season has such a wide variety of flat styles to choose from I am positive that you will find a pair that fits your personal style.

BIG is this season motto for handbags. Over sized hobo styles in bold colors and designs is all that needs to be said. While you are in the department why not stop and pick up a new belt. Thick or skinny, hey why not get one of each. Both styles are hot this year in everything from rhinestone studded leather to braided metallic.

Now let’s talk jewelry. Long skinny chains worn in multiples have been seen gracing the necks of many celebrities this season. Don’t be too quick to put away that chunky jewelry of last season, it has decided to stick around one more season.

This season, much like last season, has no clear lines of fashion drawn for men. Wondering what I mean? Well, office wear is now play wear, and everyday casual has meet formal wear this year. If this is starting to sound familiar it should. We saw it when button downs and cufflinks met fresh all whites and baseball caps, and blazers met screen print T’s.

So, men get ready to take it a step further. Start by putting on your favorite jeans, button down, and replace the blazer with cardigan, yes a cardigan, all whites. Try a Kangol trilby instead of a ball cap.

Much to my surprise the biker trend has ridden in this season. Ever classic and very subtle this season, who would have thought biker jacket made in cashmere instead of leather. Those appealing biker boots can be thrown on with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt for a rugged sexy look.

Going to the club? Think twice about reaching for those jeans. Jeans are still acceptable club wear, especially in this seasons gray tones, but this season has given you other options to cover up those sexy legs. Add a pair of pinstriped pants or a pair of flat front twill pants to your wardrobe this season. Button downs have not gone anywhere this season, they have just added a few more styles. You will find them in various stripe patterns, paisley prints, and western styles.

The ever stylish all whites are definitely still around. Your sole responsibility to this fashion trend is to make sure that they are all clean and white; dirt would be an insult to you and all those that witness it. No debating this is a must- keep your leather polished and you will continue to look absolutely amazing this season.

Wallets have been replaced this season by something a little more sleak. Ditch the bulky wallet for trendy money clip. Last but not least, sunglasses; just because summer is over doesn’t mean the sun is gone. Protect those seductive eyes with fashionable pair of sunglasses.

So there you have it, this season will be bringing a lot of different styles, colors, and textures in to our closets and on to our bodies.
