DJ’s in the fourth largest U.S. city and its surrounding areas. For the last eight years he has been a dedicated team-player at Radio One station 97.9 The Box (KBXX) working his way up as an intern from Texas Southern University to an on-air personality.
Not only has GT worked the radio waves but he has gained honor at street level DJing for some of the hottest events along side celebrities such as Diddy, Biz Markie, Allen Iverson, Tracy Mc Grady, Usher, JaRule, and many of hip-hop’s finest. Beyond that, he has recently taken on a third title, rap artist with his album HTX set for release this summer. GT has been nominated for Dirty South DJ of the Year in the 2004 Mix Show Power Summit, been selected as a member of the Source 5 MicCouncil as a judge for the 1999 and 2000 Source Hip-Hop Music Awards, and was featured on a Dirty South edition of Rap Radio on BET’s Rap City.Whenevent planners and promoters need expert musical direction for their A-List events, DJ GT is a name they trust.
